TBT South Loop to Sedona, AZ - Part 2 - (May 23 - 26, 2022)

Wet Beaver Cliff Jumping

I heard of this spot known as “The Crack” which is a four mile hike up Wet Beaver Creek. It was worth it! I did my first gainer flip and enjoyed jumping for a few hours. When I first hit the trail, I passed two couples who were carrying a big Yeti cooler. I assumed they must be heading to a swimming hole closer to the trailhead but was surprised and impressed that they lugged that heavy box full of libations the whole four miles!

Arcosanti

This was quite the interesting architectural tour and learning experience. This place was founded in 1970 and was one of the first communes/villages/cities that focused on a sustainable lifestyle and integrated architecture to blend with the surrounding natural world. They were fighting the good fight to end Urban Sprawl over 50 years ago!

Midgely Bridge and Sedona Hikes

Diego joined me for this hike to escape the searing heat. It was refreshing to swim around in the river and we hoped to find some more cliff jumps but had no luck. We explored a drainage tunnel and met the caretaker of a property owned by Maynard from the band “Tool”
